Thank goodness for that. Broccoli has been my backbone &amp; hero vegetable whenever I didn&#8217;t have time to cook other veggies or ran out of veggie ideas for the kids since they were little. Now they&#8217;re much older and the steamed broccoli with butter definitely grew old. Because the broccoli tastes the best when it is at its natural stage, therefore I&#8217;d love to stick to the basics. I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ve tried the garlic broccoli in your favorite Chinese restaurant in the past. But since we can&#8217;t go out to eat now, I cooked my own version of the garlic broccoli two nights ago.  I used Chinese high-heat stir fry technique to cook the broccoli. The 2-3 minutes of high heat stir fry caramelized the outside layer of the broccoli to bring out its sweetness. The savory broth seasoned the broccoli thoroughly. It was a good success.
